What does mobile app development with Akvega include?
Akvega builds iOS and Android apps from design through store release and the releases after it. Cross-platform in Flutter or Expo where one codebase saves money, native Swift or Kotlin where it does not. The backend, push notifications, analytics and store listings ship with the app, and the team that builds it is the team that drives traffic to it.
What is included
What the work covers.
Deliverables
- iOS and Android
- Offline and sync
- Push and lifecycle
- Store release
Product design and prototype
Flows, screens and a clickable Figma prototype before any code, so the app is argued about while it is still cheap to change.
iOS and Android build
One Flutter or Expo codebase for both platforms, or native Swift and Kotlin where the product needs it. The choice is made in the diagnostic and written down with its reasons.
Backend, auth and notifications
Supabase or Firebase for auth and data, PostgreSQL where the model needs it, push notifications and the lifecycle messages that bring people back.
Offline and sync
Local storage and conflict-safe sync are designed in from the start, so the app keeps working in a lift, on a train or on a patchy network.
Store release
App Store and Play Store listings, screenshots, review submissions and the release pipeline on GitHub Actions, all in your developer accounts.
The releases after launch
Crash monitoring, analytics events tied to the growth plan, and a release cadence agreed in advance, so version two is a plan rather than a new project.
How it runs
4 stages, in this order.
- 01
Diagnose
A paid diagnostic of the idea, the existing product if there is one, and the accounts around it, returned within 1 to 2 working days with a fixed quote.
- 02
Design
Flows and screens in Figma, tested as a clickable prototype with the people who will use the app, before engineering starts.
- 03
Build in cycles
Short visible cycles with a test build on your phone at the end of each one. Progress you can check on a Tuesday.
- 04
Release and iterate
Store submission from your accounts, then a release cadence for the versions after launch, measured against the installs and retention the growth team is driving.
Questions about mobile apps.
01What does Akvega’s mobile app development service include?
Akvega’s mobile app service covers product design, the iOS and Android build, the backend with authentication and push notifications, offline and sync, App Store and Play Store submission, and the releases after launch. The same team runs the marketing that brings people to the app.
02Should we build cross-platform or native for iOS and Android?
Cross-platform for most products. One Flutter or Expo codebase ships to both iOS and Android, so there is one codebase to build, test and maintain instead of two. Akvega goes native in Swift and Kotlin when the app leans hard on camera, Bluetooth, background processing or platform-specific interfaces.
03Do you build in Flutter or React Native?
Both, chosen per project. Akvega builds in Flutter when the interface is custom and needs to render identically on every device, and in Expo, the React Native toolchain, when the client’s web product is already React and sharing code and people matters more.
04How much does a mobile app cost with Akvega?
Mobile apps are quoted from the diagnostic; there is no list price because two apps rarely cost the same. What moves the number: screens and user roles, offline, payments and third-party integrations, and whether Akvega runs the releases after launch. The quote is fixed for a defined scope.
05How does a mobile app project with Akvega start?
With a paid diagnostic. Akvega audits the idea, any existing app, and your Google Business Profile, website, design and social accounts, and returns the findings within 1 to 2 working days with the cost to fix or build each item. The findings are yours whether or not you continue.
06Do you build mobile apps for businesses in Hyderabad?
Yes. Akvega is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and builds apps for businesses across Hyderabad, wider India and the US. Meetings happen in person across the city or remote-first, and the team works in English, Telugu and Hindi, which matters when the app’s users do too.
07Does Akvega build the backend as well as the app?
Yes. An app without its backend is a demo. Akvega builds the API, database, authentication and push notifications alongside the app, usually on Supabase or Firebase with PostgreSQL, Node.js and Prisma where the data model needs it, and deployed with Docker and GitHub Actions to accounts in your name.
08Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes. Akvega prepares the listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and review submissions for both stores, and sets up the release pipeline on GitHub Actions so later versions ship the same way. The developer accounts are created in your name, so the app is listed under your business, not Akvega’s.
09Will the app work offline or on poor networks?
Yes, where the product needs it. Akvega designs local storage and sync into the app from the start rather than adding it later, so screens load from the device and changes queue until the network returns. Whether offline is in scope is decided in the diagnostic.
10Can the app take payments and subscriptions?
Yes. Akvega integrates Stripe for card payments and subscriptions, and wires in-app purchases through the App Store and Play Store where the platform rules require it. Which route applies depends on what is being sold, and Akvega sets that out in the diagnostic before the build starts.
11Who owns the app’s code, designs and store accounts?
You do, from day one. The repositories, Figma files, App Store and Play Store developer accounts, backend projects and analytics are created in your name, not Akvega’s. If you move the app to another team, nothing has to be handed back because nothing was ever held.
12What happens after the app is released?
The releases after launch are part of the plan, not a new project. Akvega monitors crashes and analytics, agrees a release cadence, and ships fixes and features in short cycles, while the growth team runs the search and ads that bring installs to the store listing.
13Can Akvega take over an app another developer built?
Yes. The diagnostic reads the existing codebase, backend and store accounts and returns what is worth keeping, what needs rebuilding and what each costs. Akvega has no interest in rewriting for its own sake; a stable Flutter, Expo, Swift or Kotlin app is continued, not replaced.
