What does an online store from Akvega actually include?
An Akvega online store is a storefront on web and mobile, built on Shopify or a custom Next.js storefront and wired into catalogue, payments and fulfilment. Payments are UPI-first with cash on delivery as an option, invoicing is GST-ready, and the checkout is built to survive your biggest sales day and a dropped connection.
What is included
What the work covers.
Deliverables
- Storefront builds
- Payments and checkout
- Inventory sync
- Subscriptions
Store design and catalogue structure
Collections, product templates, variants and search designed around how people browse your range, to your identity rather than a theme’s. Catalogue structure is decided before design so it does not get rebuilt later.
Payments and checkout
UPI first, then cards, wallets and cash on delivery, through a payment gateway set up in your name. The checkout is built to hold a cart through a dropped connection and a retried payment.
Shipping, delivery rules and GST invoicing
Pincode-level delivery rules for where you ship, what it costs and how long it takes, and GST-ready invoices generated with each order so accounts do not re-key anything.
Inventory sync and integrations
Stock, orders and customers synced with the marketplace, ERP or logistics systems you already run, so a sale in one place is reflected everywhere.
Subscriptions and repeat purchase
Subscriptions, reorder flows and customer accounts where the product warrants them, built into the storefront rather than bolted on with a plug-in that breaks at the next update.
Conversion tracking to the order
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager configured in your accounts with add-to-cart, checkout and purchase events, so search and ad campaigns are measured to revenue, not clicks.
How it runs
4 stages, in this order.
- 01
Diagnose
A paid diagnostic of the current store or site, catalogue, payments, tracking and social accounts, with a cost against each finding. Returned within 1 to 2 working days, yours to keep.
- 02
Plan
Platform, catalogue structure, payment and shipping rules and integrations agreed in writing, with the quote fixed against that scope. The trade-offs are written down before anything is built.
- 03
Build
Storefront, checkout and integrations built in short cycles on a staging store you can place test orders on. Progress you can check on a Tuesday.
- 04
Launch and compound
A launch checklist covering payments, invoices, delivery rules and tracking, then the store is measured and improved by the same team running the campaigns that bring buyers to it.
Questions about online stores.
01What does an online store project with Akvega include?
An Akvega online store includes store design and catalogue structure, payments, shipping and GST-ready invoicing, inventory sync with the systems you already run, conversion tracking through to the order, and a launch checklist with handover. The store, payment and hosting accounts are created in your name.
02How much does an online store cost with Akvega?
Online stores are quoted per project from the diagnostic; there is no list price. What moves the number is catalogue size, marketplace, ERP or logistics integrations, and custom checkout logic. A small catalogue on Shopify and a custom storefront with subscriptions are different jobs.
03How does an online store project with Akvega start?
With a paid diagnostic. Akvega audits the current store or website, catalogue, payments and tracking, alongside the Google Business Profile and social accounts, and returns the findings within 1 to 2 working days with the cost to fix each item. The audit is yours either way.
04Should we build on Shopify or a custom storefront?
Shopify for most stores: it handles catalogue, checkout and fulfilment well and your team can run it. A custom storefront on Next.js with Supabase or PostgreSQL and Stripe is for checkout logic, pricing or integrations Shopify cannot express. The diagnostic recommends one with reasons.
05Do you support UPI and cash on delivery?
Yes. Akvega builds checkouts UPI-first, because that is how buyers in India expect to pay, with cards, wallets and cash on delivery as options. Cash-on-delivery orders can be limited by pincode or order value, and the payment gateway account is opened in your name.
06Will the store generate GST-compliant invoices automatically?
Yes. Every order produces a GST-ready invoice with your GSTIN, HSN codes and the correct tax split for intra-state and inter-state sales, so your accountant works from the store’s records rather than re-keying them. Invoice format is agreed with you before launch.
07Can we set delivery rules by pincode?
Yes. Pincode-level delivery rules decide where you ship, what shipping costs, how long it takes and whether cash on delivery is offered, so a Hyderabad buyer and a buyer in another state see accurate options at checkout. Rules can be changed by your team afterwards.
08Can the store sync with our inventory or ERP?
Yes. Akvega connects stock, orders and customers to the marketplace, ERP or logistics systems you already run, so a sale on the store, in a shop or on a marketplace is reflected everywhere. Which integrations are in scope is settled in the diagnostic.
09Will the checkout hold up on a big sale day?
That is what it is built for. Shopify carries the traffic on its own infrastructure; a custom storefront is served from Vercel or Cloudflare with the catalogue cached ahead of time. Carts survive a dropped connection and a retried payment, and the checkout is load-tested before launch.
10Do you build online stores for Hyderabad businesses?
Yes. Akvega is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and builds stores for businesses selling locally and across India, in English, Telugu and Hindi where the buyers need it. Delivery rules, cash on delivery and GST invoicing are set up for how commerce actually works here.
11Who owns the store, code and payment accounts?
You do, from day one. The Shopify store or code repository, the payment gateway, hosting, domain and analytics are all created in your name, not Akvega’s. Leaving means handing a documented store to another team, not negotiating to get your own accounts back.
12Can Akvega run the ads for the store too?
Yes, and that is the point of one team. The store is built with add-to-cart, checkout and purchase events in your analytics, so Google Ads, Meta Ads and search are measured to revenue, and a landing page or checkout fix ships the week the campaign needs it.
13Do we need a mobile app as well as a store?
Usually not at launch. A store built to load fast on a phone browser is where buyers start, and Akvega builds every store that way first. An app earns its place when repeat purchase, notifications or offline use justify it, and Akvega builds those as a separate project.
Start with the audit, not the retainer.
A paid diagnostic returns within 1 to 2 working days with every finding priced. Yours to keep whether or not you continue.
